Execution of Restoration and Conservation works for Manmool Castle was commissioned in November 2021 and handed over in December 2022. In the interim of these 13 months, various conservation works from repairing the damaged Flooring, Pointing, Scraping, Lime plastering on the walls, pendentive, squinches and arches, and reconstruction of the roof flooring and parapet wall were taken up by the consultants. Site development and maintenance work such as providing electrical supply to the interiors and exteriors, and basic repair works for Temple and toilets were considered. After restoration work was completed the Castle was used for the purpose of hosting a dinner party in celebration of 50th year completion anniversary of ICRISAT Campus. The project focused on adaptability as the key aspect of sustainability.
